What happened to the romance of it all
when saying I love you came to fall
when a smile could turn the world upside down
and acting like a clown to make their world go round

And now its weird
Spending money comes into play
Buy them a ring to make their day
and wait for what they say

Take them places so they can thank you
for the effort 
and the things that you do
And then might ask for you to kiss their shoe

But seriously what's the point if that's your meaning of love

As I Lie Here Waiting

Looking in your eyes I see me
I see myself falling everyday
Over and over again
I try to pick myself back up

Holding on to your long winter coat
I catch a gimps
Of what I now call love
Holding on to forever

Like a child hold on to their blanket
Every night calling for you
Wanting every minute to be spent on you
And yet I am here lying in bed waiting on you to come

I wait up day and night
Wanting you to keep me company
Waiting for you to lie next to me
In the empty spot on my bed

I realize that my wait isn't up yet

The Silent Soul

On the summer breeze I hear a voice
I cant figure out what its saying
cant understand it
Like its a different language
I walk closer
the voice is still fading
I try to run
run
I run out of breath
Cant run anymore
The voice is gone
Its silent
Now I feel alone
I felt better when I was curious
Now its gone
Mystery has yet to be solved
Now im just here
with my curiosity

The Maze of Life

Life's like a maze
to many mistakes can make you want to give up
or if your brave enough
just work through it
out of confusion

Most people try to be brave 
and work through the confusion
but after a while 
when it gets to hard
you start to question yourself

and the first question will always be
is this worth all this stress
and hard work
then you get to the point
when you know you cant finish it

Well at least not the right way
and finally you just have to move on
because you and everyone around you
know that your not making any progress
so you give up and move on

then when time goes by
you look back at it
and say
wow all I needed was a right turn
and I would have finished it

How does it feel to fall in love?

How does it feel
knowing you are emotionally glued to a person
Knowing you wont be the same person you were if it ended
You will feel incomplete without being near that person
You forget about everything around you and only them
so how did I feel when I fell in love
I felt confused and about to die
but in a good way
